The Peterborough Green group on Peterborough City Council supported a new administration at the 1st of November council meeting. Peterborough first will lead this new administration, supported by Liberal Democrats, Labour and the Greens.
We believe that Peterborough deserves and needs and fresh approach after 23 years of Conservative administration. We are supportive of the new administration who have promised to deliver stability, better conduct and transparency. The public needs openness about the future of the Regional Pool, Green Spaces and the Hilton Hotel.
We trust that we can work together with our groups for the betterment of Peterborough and our residents. Peterborough First have also promised to continue to support Green Policies and strategies that we have been working on at the council.
We still have significant financial challenges ahead and we are still committed to working on those challenges with all parties.
